Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using 69Shop.in (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and 69Shop.in, operated under the laws of India.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
• Be capable of forming a legally binding contract under Indian law
• Not be barred from using the Platform under any applicable law
• Provide accurate and complete registration information

3. User Accounts

When you create an account on the Platform:

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account at support@69shop.in
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• One person may not maintain more than one buyer account

Authentication is managed through Firebase Authentication. Passwords are never stored in plaintext and are handled by Google's security infrastructure.

4. Marketplace Services

69Shop.in is a multi-vendor marketplace that connects buyers with independent sellers. We provide:

• Product listings created by verified sellers
• Secure checkout with multiple payment options
• Order management including tracking and delivery coordination
• Communication tools for buyer-seller messaging
• Service booking for local service providers

69Shop.in acts as an intermediary platform. We do not own, manufacture, store, or ship the products listed by sellers. Each seller is independently responsible for their product quality, descriptions, pricing, and fulfilment.

5. Orders and Payments

Pricing: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Sellers set their own prices.

Payment Methods: We accept Cash on Delivery (COD) and online payments through Razorpay (UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking) once payment gateway integration is fully active.

Order Confirmation: An order is confirmed only after successful payment processing or acceptance of COD terms. We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.

Cancellation: Orders may be cancelled before shipment. Once shipped, the return/refund policy applies. See our Returns & Refund Policy for details.

6. Seller Terms

Sellers on 69Shop.in must:

• Complete KYC verification (PAN, GST, bank account details) before listing products
• Provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing
• Fulfil orders within the committed timeframe (1-2 business days processing)
• Comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations including the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020
• Maintain product quality standards and respond to customer queries promptly

69Shop.in charges a category-based commission on each sale (5%-15%). Commission details are provided in the seller dashboard and the Seller Agreement.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Interfere with the security or proper operation of the Platform
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without permission
• List counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited goods
• Manipulate reviews, ratings, or search rankings
• Circumvent the Platform to complete transactions outside 69Shop.in
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform's design, code, logos, and branding are the intellectual property of 69Shop.in. Sellers retain ownership of their product content (images, descriptions) but grant 69Shop.in a non-exclusive license to display this content on the Platform for the purpose of facilitating sales.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• 69Shop.in is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed by sellers
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
• Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific transaction in question
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• Your account has been inactive for more than 12 months
• We detect fraudulent or suspicious activity
• Required by law or regulatory authority

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@69shop.in. Pending orders and financial obligations survive account termination.

11. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes:

1. Contact our support team at support@69shop.in for resolution
2. If unresolved, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
3. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, seated in India
4. These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email.
